Flowers and Presents

Sydney lately has been fascinated with cemeterys. She has asked my many times to take her to the cemetery whenever we pass one. And everytime I pass it off as kinda wierd. Even thinking that Sydney is gonna be a goth girl, because she also has a fascination fo halloween. Even though she gets scared she loves all things halloween.
But then we went to Bonnie Springs. A old western town and animal haven. Well the town had all the old town buildings and small cemetery with tombstones. Of course Sydney wants to go see them and check them out. This time I asked her why she liked them so much. To which she replied, " I like to see the words and presents". I asked her, " What presents?" and she told me the flowers and stuff that are on the gound by the big stones. LOL, oh I see I was going about this all the wrong way. I had to stop and look at this from a child like perspective. It wasn't actually morbid as I was thinking before. And it doesn't mean I'll have a teenager who will be all dressed in black and like all things black. It was quite sweet. Who wouldn't want to check out a cemetery when you think of it like Sydney does. Heck there's flowers and presents invovled, who doesnt love that. Whew, I just have to say thats a sigh of relief for me. So now when she wants to stop by the cemetery I think I will. We will walk around , read the stones and admire all the flowers and presents.

Summertime and Swimming

We love swimming. This is Blakes version of laying on his back and saying... ooosaaaaa.
Sydney is learning to swim.

And we even get daddy in the water every once in awhile.

Blake loves the water. He will go down and fall in and get scared but goes right back in the water. He was born in the water after all.

We love our grass

Our backyard resturant. We love hanging out on our lovely grass playing and laying around

Preschool Graduation

Sydney graduated from preschool in May. And we registered her for kindergarten next year. The start of her schooling career will officially be started. No more freedom. Luckily kindergarten is only 2 1/2 hours. Once she starts 1st grade thats another story.
Miss Sheree was her awesome teacher. Love her.
