Good Citizen

My lil speedracer got good citizen for his preschool class and got to stand up in

 front of the whole school with the big kids.

He almost didnt make it up there. But I was so surprised when after a lil coaxing he

 walked up there and shook hands with

the vice principal and stood up with the other kids.



Mothers Day 2011

For mothers day the kids loaded me up with cards and lots of fun things they created for me. I love mothers day because thats when you get all the handmade gifts from the kids that last forever.

Rami got me my plants I wanted for the yard and he made us his awesome breakfeast of pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage, "the works". It was a great mothers day.



Happy Mothers Day " MOM "

My mom is a mom of 12 kids and now I look back after having just 2 kids and think how in the world did she do it. We had fun on family vacations and we hated saturdays when they made us work on the garden, lol. But I have loved growing up in a big family.

Thanks mom for all you have done and sacrificed for the family. We love you. And now your an awsome Grandma to your grandkids.



Cosmic Bowling

We got to do some bowling during spring break. Blake would bowl and it would take 5 min for the ball to get down the lane to hit the pins so we finally got that contraption for the kids and he had a blast. In the end Blake ended up beating all of us.

Of course another Sea World visit

Of course we couldn't leave San Diego with out seeing Shamu! Afterall Sydney wants to be a Marine Biologist and train Shamu's when she grows up. We even have to relocate to San Diego when she goes to college there (thats Sydney's plan).

We were excited to see some turtles there for the first time. They are even working on a

 whole new exhibit for them.

Have you ever seen in where they ask someone for a camera then they pluck differnt people from the audience to create a makeshift family and  take a pic wiht someone elses camera. Well I got pulled up to be the girl and stand with Biff.

San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park

 Blake got up during a bug show and got to participate. He was thirlled until he learned they would all be eating meal worms. ehhhh, but he did it and we laughed.

 We were excited to get going and check out these 2 parks. It was soooo much fun. And great excercise, lol. We did so much walking by the time we got to our hotel rooms lights were out by 9 with everyone asleep.

 We had the funniest tram guide at the wild animal park. I will never forget what follow me marks are and what they look like on all the animals.

 We actually grew some strawberries!  I don't have much of a green thumb and whenever I plant something it always seems to die. Except for these strawberries.So they must be idiot proof if I havent killed them yet. And we love strawberries.

Easter 2011

The kids woke up easter morning to find that the bunny left them easter eggs all over.  After there easter egg hunt they got into there easter baskets and we enjoyed a huge breakfeast by daddy.



Smarty Pants

 Sydney got A/B Honor Roll. Which means she got all A's and B's in school. Sydney loves school. I even told her one day she could stay home after going to the dentist and she told me no, just take her back to school. She loves doing worksheets at home just for fun. And of course she loves talking with her friends.

 Remeber in school how we have BFF's, best friends forever. Well Syd came home and told me a certain friend was her BFFE?! What the heck is BFFE? ... well apparently now they say... best friends for eternity. lol.

What's your favorite pair of shoes?

    As much as I would love to wear a sexy pair of heels I have to say my go to shoes are a pair of flats. I can do anything I need to with these. They can be dressed up for date night with the hubby all the way down to running around at the park with the kids. Then in the summer its a good pair of sandels. The second shoe I wear the most are my saucony's.  I love to be outdoors and I love hiking so if Im not busy with day to day stuff Im wearing my saucony's at Red Rock or Mt. Charelston.

    Ok so in tv shows and movies, can you tell me how in the hell are these chicks running around in freakin heels?!  I would love to wear a pair of heels, but I tried that at my sisters wedding and within 30 minutes I was dying. The ball of my foot was hurting so bad. I literally could not walk in them. I could not take one step without it sending a painful shock to my foot and as soon as I got to the reception they were off.  I know I probably sound like a big baby. But wearing those puppies made me feel like I was debilitated.  
 
 So now for a lil heel that I can manage and feel good in I go for a sexy wedge. A wedge is my friend.

  

         Can I just say I love my flats. These are by far my most favorite pair of flats with the studs on them.

Frustrated with my Asthma

This year has been such a rough time for me in regards to my Asthma. I just want to be able to breathe normal again.

So sorry if it feels like Im ignoring anyone but I just become a hermit when I can't breathe. I feel like I can't function or do anything and its miserable and depressing. It really sucks because I was doing so well running last year and I havent even been able to get back to exercising. Lucky for me when I cant breathe I dont have an appetite or I'd be in big trouble. lol.

I ve never had it like this before. Growing up I had maybe 4 times that I can remeber having an asthma attack. Then starting in college I would have one about once a year.  It would take a couple of weeks to get better and I'd be done.  And this time its been 7 months and Im still having trouble. I just hope this will pass soon and I can feel like I can run and play again.

Inner Goth Girl

     So I think Sydney has an inner goth girl. She's girly on the outside but she also has a dark side. lol. She likes Coraline which I thought was kinda freaky and will not let her watch again. She also likes those nightmare before christmas movies and monster high stuff. We both love the new Alice in wonderland movie and the main song for it.
      But on the flip side, if you ever put on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory she will literally freak out! She will cry and act hysterical. She is terrified of the ompa lumpas in the movie. All you have to do is mention the movie and she will start freaking out. Lol, sometimes Rami and I have too much fun with that one.
    
     So monday was library day at school and this is the book she came home with...

I can't believe Sydney is 7!

Sydney was the funnest baby and toddler. I love being her mommy.  She was so social.

 Always smiling and talking to people.

Sydney was always coloring, painting or doing something with her hands and being around people, talking and having fun.

Sydney loves clothes and would change them like 3 times a day. Now its down to 2. She loves makeup and her lipgloss. Even got caught by her teacher after she went to the bathroom at school just to put on her lipgloss.

Sydney loves to be active and to be with family and friends. She can be a bossy lil girl. I hear myslef telling her I know Im the mom and the grown up with her a lot. She will tell my to turn off a light or I need to put this away or that. lol.

Sydney is currently into soccer, singing, dancing, being with friends and family.

She does well at school, even though she is a talker and loves loves loves to read. 

We love our lil sydney. I just can't believe she is already 7!

Date Night for Valentines

For Valentines this year my sister had a great idea to go on a date night to the Beatles Love Show.

Me and Rami went to our fav little mexican resturant Que Mas for dinner then met up with Evette and her friends for the show (her hubby got sick and couldnt make it. We missed you Hector!)

It was a great night getting dressed up and and hanging out with my sister.

 The show was really great.  It had a lot of stuff going on and felt tripy at times but was

so awesome.
