Blake the next boxing champ



Sydney lost her 1st tooth

Sydney Rose lost her 1st tooth yesterday. It came as a total surprise. She would say every once in a while that her tooth was wiggling but nothing really showed. So yesterday Blake and Sydney were goofing off and they were making swords out of straws. Blake stuck his straw sword in Syd's mouth and she cried out that he hurt her. When I looked at her I saw a drop of blood and a tooth hanging from a tread. So I reached in and grapped it. She was on the verge of freaking out when I said yea you lost your first tooth and did a song and dance for her and she became excited.

She cant really believe she lost a tooth. She keeps asking, did I really lose a tooth. All her friends have lost 1 and 2 to 3 teeth already and she finally lost her 1st tooth. Well that night she put her tooth under her pillow and the tooth fairy left her a dollar. She was so excited that at 5 in the morning when she woke up she kept telling her daddy about the tooth fairy leaving her a dollar. haha Rami.

Christmas Day 2010

Of course Sydney woke up super early Christmas morning. We were able to sleep just a lil bit longer by letting her get into bed with us but still got up way to early at 7:30.

This year we got a Wii. And Blake went wild for the boxing game.

Ahh the kids coloring together...

And playing a family game of Uno that Santa brought our family this year.  We had a great Christmas and later that day had a great Turkey dinner.

All I want for Christmas...

 Blake loves loves Santa. Everytime he see's a Santa he runs to him and gives him hugs. He just looks at Santa so adoringly.

This year Blake kept asking Santa for Bakugons.

Sydney loves to see Santa too, even though she tries to tell me, "mom that wasnt really Santa. He looks different from the other Santa." So I just let her know that they are really Santa's helpers, because Santa is busy getting ready for Christmas.

So Sydney asked for makeup again this year. I think she has asked for makeup every year.

Magical Lights

The Cactus Garden at Ethels M's is totally decorated by lights. From top to bottom. I have never seen something so magical. It was like walking through a magical forest of lights. The pictures dont do it any justice.

Blake cant ever just leave stuff alone. Here they are to take a pic with the m&m's and he's holding the foot. And mind you this is a cactus garden all set up with Christmas lights and he kept touching everything. I was terrified he was going to get poked by something pokey.



Rockin around the Christmas Tree

 Decorating the tree has become a tradition that is one of the kids favorites. I put on the lights and put some ornanments on the top of the tree but other than that the kids love doing the rest. And I have learned to let go and leave it the way they decorated it. Besides everyday it changes.  Blake goes around and takes off the ornaments and puts them back in a different place everyday.

 The kids love putting on our most treasured ornanments. They are icicles that my grandma has made for us.

Fashionista

Sydney is my lil fashionista. Here she is one morning ready for school.

O Christmas Tree

Sydney and Blake love wrangling the smaller trees.

Whoo hooo. We love getting our tree. We get home put it in place, have a lil desert, then work on decocrating it. Its one of Sydney's most favorite things to do. She just loves to decorate the tree. I was actually laging this year and didnt want to start decorating till the next day but she was having none of that.  She was getting it done that night.



Thanksgiving 2010

I love Thanksgiving.  Its about the only time most of my family can get together and hang out. I especially love that they are visiting my house.  I love to have them over.

Rami of course out did himself this year. We all said this year was the best.  The food was awesome and tasted soooo good.  Rami is perfecting his dishes.

Blake loves being a part of the boys.  We all love when the Michaelis's come visit and we can

 just goof off and have fun.

Speed Racer

Blake loves to hop on his bike and take off around the block. He likes to race me, chase his shadow, and unfortunatly for bear chase him too, which freaks him out because he's a big scardy cat. lol.

Crafty Girl

Here's Sydney doing a halloween tree house.  Sydney hardly has any real toy's that she plays with. What she does have alot of is beads, markers, coloring notebooks, papers, etc.  This girl is my little craft girl.  She loves it.  She loves a good glue bottle to just clue things together.

Delicious and Nutritious

My sister Rebecca has just created a new blog for gluten free cooking. She has celiacs and has had to change the way she eats. And through the process of finding out what she can eat she has made some awesome recipes. I wish she was my personal chef, lol I would be lookin good eating her food. Bellagio Gardens with the Mitchells

Our lil super heros.

This year the kids decided to be super heros with thier best friends.

Blake and Eva are spiderman and spidergirl, while Syd is supergirl and Bella is batgirl.

And we wanted to get the most out of these costumes so we are having them wear them every chance we get. We went to see the gardens at the Bellagio and check out how it was decorated for fall.



Evette & Hectors Wedding Oct 2010

Getting ready for the wedding was lots of fun. All the girls in the Michaelis family were together in our coordinating robes getting our hair and makeup done.

But we are missing 2 of our brothers.

Blake thought the music was to loud. 

But loved running around with his Uncles.

Sydney and Jubie danced the night away. They were the first ones on the dance floor and stayed on it the rest of the night. The two of them even caught the flowers when Evette tossed them.

It was great to see our Uncle Don and Aunt Carol. 

Everyone had fun dancing and talking with eachother.

And Blake ended the night falling asleep. That was our que to get home.
