Our Adventures at Sea World Spring Break 2010

We love being at Sea World and in San Diego so once again we got are season pass so we can go as much as possible. Sea World is our getaway. We love checking out all the sea animals. Sydney even says when she goes to college we have to move to San Diego so she can go to school to be a Marine Biologist. Funny we all to move so she can go to college.

Did you know Star Fish are now call Sea Stars...

because they dont have gills and are not fish.

Funny story about the Sea Stars... the first time Sydney picked one up and was checking it out she put it in her mouth and bit it. Ha ha she was only about 20 months. Later when we went again and it was Blakes first time we went to check out the Sea Stars and he picked it up and took a bite on it too. Crazy that they would both do the same thing. I dont know why but they did.

Sydney and Rami love to go on this ride. Me and Blake hang back and laugh at them when they pass us and they get all wet by people shooting these big water cannons.

Red Rock Hiking with Steven

Steven got to spend a weekend with us before his move to Utah to work as a Wildland Firefighter. The kids were all over him and driving him crazy. And it cracks me up when he left he called me the next day and told me that he missed them climbing all over him. My kids are so intense and all over you that when you leave them and are by yourself you feel like you are missing something.
Steven noticed some cool things on are hike that we would have just walked by if he didnt find them. I guess its all part of being out in the wilderness so much. One thing he noticed was a hiker girl who had hairy legs than a man. And another was this bush with all these patches of webs that had all these worms in them. It was pretty cool to see.

Sydney turned 6

Sydney had her first party where she invited her friends. She wanted this more than anything and I wanted it the least of anyone. I am so not a party thrower. But it turned out great and she loved loved loved it. Im good for at least 2 yrs now, right?
I usually make Syd a special cake every year but this year she got special cupcakes.

Sydney was excited to get her first birthday card in the mail before she went to bed.

Sydney thru the years

Sydney Rose is 6 years old today.

Coincidentally it's Sunday and she was born on a Sunday morning.
Sydney loves to color and write. If she is acting up I threaten to take away her markers and thats enough to get her to straighten up for a lil bit.

She is also a social butterfly, she loves her friends.

Burgers

Ever since we have left Indiana I have become very picky about Burgers. Indiana has such great Burger places it's hard to have just anything now. Until we had... FarmerBoys. We love that place. Sydney couldnt give them up even when she found out meat is from cows. lol.

Disneyland and California Adventure

This is day 2 of our Disneyland Fun and we are still going strong. Our favorite ride so far at California Adventure is the Toy Story ride and me and the kids love the Ferris Wheel that rocks back and forth. Rami didn't go on it because he's a chicken!
