Swimming & Mt. Charleston

To beat the heat from the Vegas heat can be done in 2 ways:

Swimming and lots of it with Friends.

And heading up to Mt. Charleston which is around 20 degrees cooler then Vegas and only takes 30 minutes to get there. It feels like normal weather when your there and almost a little chilly at times.

Fathers Day Weekend 2010

Was spent at the Stratosphere for the weekend. We never left town but still we

felt like we were away from it all. It was a nice lil mini vacation.

We did alot of relaxing and swimming in the pool.

And even went to the top of the stratosphere. Where Rami kept freaking out if I got the kids to

 close to the windows to check out the city. LOL. He's afraid of heights.

Frosty's with Grandpa

While in California we went and got Grandpa and took him to lunch. Then we picked up his favorite Wendy's Frosty and went to the Monrovia Park.

Blake got to climb and act like spiderman.

And we enjoyed our Frosty's with Grandpa

I love the things my kids say

Me and Sydney went shopping last night. She asked me... How do they make manikins and womenkins?

Blake is so cute right now and I keep telling him he cant grow up anymore and he has to stay just like this forever. I would say he's my baby and I don't want him to get bigger but he doesnt like to be called a baby.  And he told me... No I have to grow up. And I said...Why, why do you have to grow up?  And Blake said... No I have to get big so I can be a superhero.

I want to live in San Diego!

We love San Diego and I wished I lived there! We loved our hotel room when we stayed down there this last time. It was on the marina and we had a lil balcony outside our sliding glass doors.

Of course we spent some time at Sea World.

Blake loves checking out the sea stars.

This time we checked out all the navy boats and walked along the marina.

Blake found a walkie talkie and became Special Agent Terry the spy, for the rest of the trip.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory

The In Laws are in town.

So we went to check out the chocolate factory. We watched them go into the molds and start going down the conveyer belt where they go thru refridgeration and come out.

Blake just heard we are getting some chocolate.

After the tour we checked out the cactus garden.
