Sydney turned 6

Sydney had her first party where she invited her friends. She wanted this more than anything and I wanted it the least of anyone. I am so not a party thrower. But it turned out great and she loved loved loved it. Im good for at least 2 yrs now, right?
I usually make Syd a special cake every year but this year she got special cupcakes.

Sydney was excited to get her first birthday card in the mail before she went to bed.

Sydney thru the years

Sydney Rose is 6 years old today.

Coincidentally it's Sunday and she was born on a Sunday morning.
Sydney loves to color and write. If she is acting up I threaten to take away her markers and thats enough to get her to straighten up for a lil bit.

She is also a social butterfly, she loves her friends.

Burgers

Ever since we have left Indiana I have become very picky about Burgers. Indiana has such great Burger places it's hard to have just anything now. Until we had... FarmerBoys. We love that place. Sydney couldnt give them up even when she found out meat is from cows. lol.

Disneyland and California Adventure

This is day 2 of our Disneyland Fun and we are still going strong. Our favorite ride so far at California Adventure is the Toy Story ride and me and the kids love the Ferris Wheel that rocks back and forth. Rami didn't go on it because he's a chicken!


This is Blakes ride... on top of dads shoulders all day.

Blake loved to look at the map... at least that kept his attention for awhile.

hi ho the merry o... A hiking we will go

It was the first day in along time that it was awesome here in Vegas. The sun was shining and it was 60 degrees. So we decided to go for a hike. It seemed like everyone else thought the same thing because there were so many people out at Red Rock today.


This was the first hike we went on that Blake did so well on. Usually we carry him until we get to our destination and carry him back. but this time he hiked until we had to carry him over the spring where we had to hop across using rocks.

Damn Donuts

I have been working really hard at working out. Going to the gym at least 4 times a week doing cardio and weights with my friend Julie. Ive been making healthier meals at home and eating better. I finally yelled at Rami not to bring anymore crap home to tempt me and he's been really good at doing that... until last night. He brought home donuts. And they have been calling my name... so I ate one. Which is fine but it was so good that after I was out all day I came home and had another one. Damn donuts.





Today Blake got a spikey hair do and he thinks he is so cool now.

Its raining its pouring...

Today is a gloomy rainy day. So we are hanging out at home. Might as well get our Valentines ready. Blake has Spiderman valentines for his preschool class and Syd has some butterfly ones with a faux tatoo. I can't believe how much it has been raining here in Vegas this year. I know I should be grateful and Iam. But I would love my sun back!
