A Day in the Life of the Fakhouri's

This past WEEKEND Rami, Richard, and Robert were fixing holes in the walls and preping the house for the primer. It was alot of work. It took them 2 whole days to fix all the holes the crazy woman made who lived in the house before.

My sister Chelsey had a birthday SUNDAY. Sorry I wasnt able to be there. I love ya anyways, hope you had a good birthday.

Then Rami primed the house on MONDAY and came home looking like the abombable snowman. Even his eyelashes were coated. It was funny, we kept wanting to pick the paint off his leg hairs and then hearing him scream at us afterward.

It was also Melissa's birthday MONDAY. Happy birthday, hope you had fun. We love ya.

Blake is coming out of his shell more and more. We are making him say a word when he wants something. Like a toy car, he has to say car before we give it to him. And he has been repeating the words everytime. He still loves to say NO and wave his finger at you.

TUESDAY Rami is back at work. Blake peed in the potty today. We have left it sitting on the floor for awhile to see if he had any interest. And today out of the blue he sat down and peed.
Sydney will be going to swim lessons tonight. Last week she even went down the big slide.

Tomorrow is a busy day. Rami will do the last of the primering, Syd has Kidde Kollege and Blake has a doctors appointment. So WEDNESDAY will be a day of driving around for me.

FRIDAY The carpet is going in the new house

and SATURDAY we are moving in. YEAAAAAAAAA.

Blakes Buddy

If anyone knows Blake you know that he is very shy and doesnt go to people very often or at all. But one person has won him over... Marlies ... Blake and Marlies are the best of buddies. He gets so excited to see her when she gets home. He will look out the window when he hears the garage door to see if its Marlies's car and he will holler and clap for her. Then they play all night and he jumps on her and talks for her. When we are shopping he will go to her and have her carry him around and wont to go to me. I would be offended if I wasnt already tired of carrying him already:) They are the best of buddies.

My baby is 2 today. I can't believe how fast they grow up. I love this stage that Blake is in right now. He is so mischievious. He loves to do something naughty, laugh and run off. I love it, he is so cute. He loves to give tight hugs around my neck and give me kisses. Blake is also my very very shy boy. When attention is brought to him he will hide behind my leg and put his head down. He loves his daddy. As soon as Rami walks thru the door he is screaming for joy and running to him. He doesnt like to leave him while he is home. And as soon as it's time for Rami to go to work he gives him the tightest hug and wont let go. I have to peel his arms from Rami's neck. Blake loves to play with cars, loves to play with keys and try to lock and unlock doors with them, he loves anything electronic that has lots of buttons, and he loves to play with his sister when they are not fighting over something.

Sydney gets her ears pierced

sydney was so excited to finally be getting her ears pierced.
Rami was so nervous. He had been trying to talk Sydney out of getting it done for weeks. The girl who pierced Syd's ears said it was the first time she saw a dad come in.
Check out Syd's nervous tongue. The girls pierced the ears at the same time. And my lil girl didnt even cry. She was so proud of herself.
Sydney loves her earrings and reminds me every morning and night to put on the cleaner and twist her earrings. She also has to tell everyone that, "I just got my ears pierced, see" and proceeds to show them her her earrings. My lil girlie girl. She did so well. She's a lot stronger that I thought. Because I thought for sure she would cry and want to take them out.

SURPRISE

I just turned 30 on Aug 1st. It was a big birthday for me so I was bummed when Rami had to work till 8 that night. I kinda just had a day to myself. I was bummed we didnt get to do more. Well little did I know my darling husband had something in mind. The next day I went to a movie with Marlies and when I got home the house was full of all my friends. I was so surprised I had no idea what to say. It was awesome, the best birthday ever. I couldnt have imagined a better way to celebrate my 30th.

Evettes Here

So Evette came to visit us for a week. It was so much fun. She had us going going going all day everyday. Going to the parks all over town, doing some swimming and shopping. She came to visit it me from Cali before she starts her new job. Evette we love you and had so much fun. Thanks for coming see you soon.
